Software Update Available for the TS-4530A IFF Test Set

The Software update includes changes that adds full compliance with 2025 AIMSPO requirements and removal of all Mode 4 components and TACAN Testing and Mode 5 L2B IN/OUT testing capability.
The main features of this update include:
- FPGA M5 Enhancements.
- Added TAP Selection (Antenna Coupler) and propagated change through all Menus and underlying hardware configuration. This allows the operator to conduct over the air (OTA) testing limiting outside radiation and improves repeatability and accuracy. a. A separate TAP-OMNI (P/N – 90000150) will need to be purchased for this option.
- Added TACAN testing on all 126 X/Y channels in A/A, G/A and A/A Beacon.
- Removal of all Mode 4 capability and menus.
- Compliance with all tests required for transponder integration testing 03-1102.
- Expanded display of additional required ADS-B OUT parameters
- Capability of interrogating Mode S all-call and Modes A/C all-call
- Capability of interrogating individually specified Mode 5 formats
- Stand-alone Mode 5 squitter test
- Manual Mode-S capability test
- Manual UF0/DF16 test
- I/P (IDENT) duration test
- Empty Bracket Mode C Test. Ensure compliance with DoD AIMS 17-1000 Rev 1.1.
- Altitude decoding and LAT/LONG decoding in southern hemisphere.
- Removal of Auto Detect for Direct or OTA testing.
- Capability to Test Mode 5L2B IN & OUT.
The latest Software update will be included with all new purchases of the TS-4530Aand available as a optional upgrade to existing users of the TS-4530A IFF Test Set.
