Tel-Instrument Expands SDR-OMNI with New GPS Simulator Application
Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp. is pleased to announce the availability of the new SDR-OMNI GPS Simulator Application, a powerful expansion to the SDR-OMNI platform that brings practical GPS receiver, ADS-B, and coupled autopilot testing directly into the hangar and onto the flight line.Designed for aircraft maintenance, avionics troubleshooting, and installation support, the SDR-OMNI GPS Simulator Application transforms SDR-OMNI into a portable GPS test solution capable of simulating up to 12 GPS L1 satellite channels in a controlled aircraft-on-ground environment. Using a dedicated GPS antenna coupler and multi-satellite L1 simulation, technicians can verify GPS receiver operation, support ADS-B position source validation, test coupled autopilot functions, and troubleshoot antenna or coax issues without relying on live sky conditions.

The KIV-79 to KIV-77 Adapter provides a practical path for upgrading supported legacy KIV-77 installations without redesigning the existing platform interface.
The adapter allows a KIV-79 cryptographic unit or compatible KIV-79 Emulator to operate as a form-fit replacement for legacy KIV-77 applications while preserving the established footprint, connector alignment, and mounting interfaces.
The adapter provides a streamlined integration path for supported transponder and interrogator systems while reducing the need for platform wiring, mounting, or interface changes.

New T-47/M5 Software Update is Available
Tel-Instrument has released a new Software version for users of our popular T-47/M5 IFF Test Set (07.300.30). This update adds a new feature - Mode 5 L2B IN and OUT, removal of all Mode 4 components and also corrects a minor bug affecting with GPS Roll Over. The Software can easily be installed by Tel-Instrument or any of our authorized Service Centers.Note: As the software adds additional capability, international users of the T-47/M5 will need a Department of State License to receive the update.

The next-generation AIMS Mode 5 Identify Friend or Foe Emulator from WebSec is designed as a modern, non-CCI replacement for legacy cryptographic devices.
The emulator can operate in place of a KIV-79 or, when used with the optional adapter, a KIV-77. This provides a flexible and future-ready solution for Mode 5 testing, system integration, training, and evaluation.
The KIV-79 Emulator integrates with the Tel-Instrument T-47/M5 and TS-4530A test sets and supports both flight line and laboratory applications.

T-4530i IFF Test Set
T-4530i Avionics Test Set
The T-4530i is the next evolution of the highly successful TS-4530A avionics test set. Designed for military flight line, depot, and system integration applications, the T-4530i provides comprehensive testing, simulation, and analysis of modern identification, navigation, surveillance, and collision avoidance systems.
With the optional crypto interface, the T-4530i supports the KIV-77 and SIT-2010 and provides testing for Modes 1, 2, 3/A, C, S, EHS, ADS-B transmit and receive, National Security Mode capability, Mode 5 Levels 1 and 2, TCAS I and II, and TACAN systems.
The T-4530i combines a full-color display, joystick-based navigation, and a lightweight portable design with extended NiMH battery operation for demanding field applications.
