AN/USM-708A Multi-Function Test Set

Next-Generation Military Multi-Function Avionics Test Equipment.

The AN/USM-708A Multi-Function Test Set is the upgraded replacement for the AN/USM-708, retaining the extensive test capabilities of the original platform while adding updated hardware, modernized software, and expanded operational flexibility.

Designed for military ground support and avionics maintenance environments, the AN/USM-708A provides comprehensive test capability for transponder, interrogator, ADS-B, navigation, TACAN, sonobuoy, Link-4, ADF, and related airborne avionics systems.

Updated Platform
The AN/USM-708A, P/N 90000215, replaces the AN/USM-708, P/N 90000108, with updated hardware and software while eliminating legacy Mode 4 components and removing previous Over-the-Air testing restrictions.

The AN/USM-708A features a large NVG-compatible color LCD, surrounding soft keys, and a rugged operator interface designed for single-person operation, fast test access, pre-programmed test configurations, and manually variable parameters for demanding military avionics applications.
