Important – Return Material Authorization (RMA) Required
Do not ship equipment to Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp. until an RMA number has been issued.
An approved Return Material Authorization (RMA) is required for all equipment being returned for repair, calibration, warranty evaluation, or other factory service. Equipment received without an authorized RMA number may experience processing delays or be returned to the sender.
⚠ International Customers
Please contact Tel-Instrument before shipping any military product which is ITAR controlled to our factory.
We will provide the proper shipping instructions and documentation to help prevent customs delays, export compliance issues, or shipment confiscation. Certain products may be subject to U.S. export regulations, including ITAR requirements.
Warranty, Repair & Calibration RMA Request
Factory Service from the Original Manufacturer
Tel-Instrument provides factory repair, warranty evaluation, and calibration services for supported Tel-Instrument avionics test equipment.
To return equipment for service, calibration, or warranty review, please submit a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request before shipping any unit to our facility.
When to Request an RMA
Please request an RMA for:
- Factory calibration
- Equipment repair
- Warranty evaluation
- Troubleshooting and service inspection
- Product updates or service-related modifications
Before Shipping Your Equipment
To help us process your request quickly, please include:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Company name and contact information
- Description of the issue or requested service
- Purchase order information, if applicable
- Return shipping instructions
Factory Calibration
Tel-Instrument factory calibration includes operational verification, performance testing, and calibration documentation using approved procedures and traceable standards.
Factory Repair
Factory repair services are performed by technicians familiar with Tel-Instrument products, supported by engineering, original documentation, and product-specific test procedures.
Warranty Evaluation
If your equipment may be covered under warranty, Tel-Instrument will evaluate the unit and determine warranty applicability based on the product condition, warranty period, and nature of the failure.
