AN/USM-719A Ramp Test Set

Description

The AN/USM-719 Multi Function Test Set (P/N 90 000 121) has been now replaced and upgraded and replaced with the new AN/USM-719A (P/N 90 000 216). This updated model retains all of the extensive testing of the original unit but now has been upgraded with new hardware and updated software eliminating all Mode 4 components and the removal of OTA (Over-the-Air) testing restrictions.

The AN/USM-719A is another evolution in the next generation in ground support aviation ramp test equipment.

Based on entirely new up-to-date technology and digital architecture; the AN/USM-719 large 4.75" x 3.5" in. color LCD screen and surrounding soft-keys and keyboard provides easy and quick access to a multiple of test screens menus, and display options affording single man operation, instant results, and a host of pre-programmed and manually variable parameters to meet the most demanding requirement s for testing of advanced airborne avionic and transponder/interrogator systems.

The AN/USM-719A provides precision testing of the following systems:

• Transponder: Modes 1, 2, 3/A, C, Mode S, EHS (Enhanced Surveillance) and Mode 5 (Levels 1 & 2)<
• Interrogator: Modes 1, 2, 3/A, C, Mode 5 Levels (1 & 2), TCAS (S & C) & ETCAS
• ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast
• TACAN G/A, A/A, and A/A BCN
• VSWR
• Built-in KIV-78 Powered Bay.

The AN/USM-719A can be factory upgraded to the AN/USM-708A adding more versatility and expanded capabilities.
